Farewell Groove

Today is my last day with Groove Networks. I'm taking a couple of weeks off and then I'll be starting up a new job at Macromedia on the Royale team. This is an exciting opportunity for me and will combine my interests in multimedia and software systems design.

Working for Groove has been the most challenging and rewarding job of my career. I will surely miss all the people here - some of the best and brightest in the industry. Thank you all for the support and encouragment, especially with all the help getting GWS off the ground. Rest assured, the project is in good hands and has a bright future. I will be eagerly waiting to see what these guys cook up next. (Actually I know some of what is in the works and it rocks!)

I also want to personally thank Ray Ozzie. Ray, you have been an inspiration for me. I am in awe by your ability to run a company while contributing so many new ideas at both a technical and conceptual level. It has been a pleasure working with you. Thank you for believing in me and the GWS initiative. I certainly hope we have the opportunity to work together in the near future.
